This architectural study concerns the general repair of a complex of leisure facilities and the design of the surrounding area. The existing complex, which is located a few meters away from the bay of Super Paradise, consists of 7 buildings that host a total of 18 rooms and suites.

The design has as a starting point the repair of the complex in such a way that it is restored and aesthetically upgraded with respect to the traditional Mykonian architecture and at the same time it fulfills the functional needs of a modern accommodation.

We initially propose a new interior layout of the premises. On the facades of the buildings, apart from replacing the old window and door frames with new made of natural wood, it is proposed the repair of the external walls by using  rough and paste white plaster, in order to highlight the volumes of the complex. Regarding the surroundings, we create an outdoor area with a restaurant and a lounge bar, with stops and walkways, green areas and view spots.

The central point of reference is the swimming pool which is situated in the center of the hotel and the wooden deck, which looks like hovering. The water combined with the planting of the surrounding area results in the creation of an ideal microclimate and a high-quality leisure area. The materials used are local natural stone, cement and wood.
